BWB are delighted to announce we have been awarded a place on Lot 6 – ‘Advisory Services in Niche Specialisms’ for the Midlands Connect Specialist Technical Framework– in support of West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA). This six-lot framework will run for four years until 2025 acting as a procurement vehicle for local authorities and Transport for West Midlands.
BWB’s inclusion builds on our growing public sector client base and the increased core service offerings from our Birmingham and Nottingham offices. As part of BWB’s appointment, we will be providing a range of multidisciplinary environmental assessment services including, environmental impact assessment, carbon quantification, air quality, acoustics, water resources, archaeology and nature, biodiversity and ecology advice.
“This is a great opportunity for BWB and adds to the already strong presence we have across the Midlands with our highly experienced Environment Group. As well as this, the timing could not be better, with the Government’s recently published Transport Decarbonisation Plan. We are excited to be involved in the development of a cleaner, greener and more sustainable transport network across the region.”
Chris Miller-Jones, Director of Sustainability at BWB and part of the BWB Birmingham office, will be the framework director
